5GENESIS: 5th generation End-to-End Network, Experimentation, System Integration, and Showcasing
The group MORSE is participating in the H2020 5Genesis project as part of a particularly heterogeneous consortium of 29 partners from the academic and industrial sectors of 12 different countries.
The objective of 5Genesis is to provide a set of services and tools that offer the research community, industry, and technological companies the possibility of experimenting with the 5G network, and to validate and verify different indicators and cases of use of 5G technology.
For that purpose, 5Genesis has 5 experimentation platforms in several locations in Europe (Malaga, Surrey, Berlin, Athens and Limassol) with different functionalities and orientations. The platform in Malaga, which is operated by the MORSE group, focuses on citizen security, emergencies and critical mission services.
