ITIS Showcases Its Capabilities and Projects at Transfiere 2026
he Institute of Technology and Software Engineering (ITIS) has concluded its participation in Transfiere 2026, held on February 24, 25, and 26 at FYCMA (Trade Fair and Congress Center of Málaga), reaffirming its commitment to knowledge transfer and collaboration between universities, companies, and the public sector.
Transfiere has established itself as one of Europe’s leading forums on R&D&I, serving as a strategic meeting point to foster partnerships, share scientific capabilities, and accelerate the transfer of innovation to the market and society.
Over the three-day event, ITIS UMA had its own stand within the University of Málaga area, where the team presented its ongoing projects and collaboration opportunities with companies and institutions.
As part of the official program, our director, Pedro Merino, introduced the Institute, its infrastructure, and its main research areas. Additionally, José Manuel García Nieto participated in several sessions focused on knowledge transfer experiences driven by the university sector.
One of the most notable milestones took place on February 25, with an intensive workshop organized by Ágora Datalab, designed to connect cutting-edge technology with the real needs of industry and the agricultural sector.
With this participation, ITIS strengthens its presence at Transfiere and once again reaffirms its commitment to knowledge transfer, consolidating its role in bridging scientific knowledge and practical application in industry.
