The Institute organizes its “First ITIS QUALIFICA Project Workshop”

The Ada Byron Research Building has hosted this event in which members of the Institute of Technology and Software Engineering “José María Troya Linero” of the University of Malaga were able to learn about the work of the new colleagues.

The objective of this session, in which it has been possible to participate in a face-to-face and remote manner, was to “face” the new members and be able to establish collaborations and working lines with them. A total of 16 international researchers have joined the ITIS Software team thanks to the QUALIFICA program, which seeks to strengthen University Research Institutes of Andalusian Universities and R&D&I Centers and Infrastructures.

During the day, divided into 5 different sessions following the main lines of research of the Institute, all of them have made interventions presenting their experience and told the lines of research in which they are working, and then holding cross-cutting meetings in order to be able to collaborate and deepen further the tasks on which they will focus during their time at the Institute. On this occasion, the Workshop was held only with the presence of members of the Institute, but it is expected to organize another session for the next year open to the university community and collaborating companies.
