The UMA and the National Technical University of Ukraine, united by scientific collaboration.

On Monday, November 15, Kateryna Ivanko, Professor at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute”, attended the José María Troya Linero Software Engineering and Technology Institute, located in the Ada Byron research building. The Professor was able to learn about the facilities that the Institute has, as well as several researchers who work there.

Although Kateryna visited the University of Malaga as part of the ERASMUS+ International Credit Mobility (KA107) project, she wanted to talk with Professor Ismael Navas Delgado, member of ITIS Software, about the scientific cooperation between the KPI and the University of Malaga. The National Technical University of Ukraine is a large public university located in Kiev, Ukraine, where Kateryna works as an Associate Professor.

This collaboration will focus on the analysis of time series of clinical signs using advanced data analysis techniques, allowing the participation of PhD students from both Universities. On behalf of the UMA, the collaborator will be Sandro Hurtado Requena, also a member of the ITIS.

The initiative will bring together the Ukrainian University and Malacitana, promoting international cooperation between public universities and placing ITIS in the international framework of research.

Below, we leave you several interesting links to the profiles of the main researchers who will collaborate in the project.
